Rochester Mayo's Head Coach Lorne Grosso breaks Minnesota record

Rochester Mayo Spartans Head Coach Lorne Grosso has passed Edina's Lee Ikola for the most career coaching wins in Minnesota. Grosse won his 617th game on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 with a 2-1 victory over rival Rochester John Marshall.

Lee Ikola's overall record was 616-149-38 as the Head Coach at Edina and former Edina East high school from 1958-1991. You can read more about Coach Ikola on Wikipedia here.
