Alexandria tops BHS boys hockey team

The Bemidji High School hockey team again, had trouble finding the back of the net Saturday night against Alexandria.
The 5-1 loss at Nymore Arena is the second to the Cardinals this season.
The Lumberjacks took too many penalties down the stretch and Alexandria, once again, rode strong goaltending to the victory. Junior goalie Matt Hemingway shutout the jacks in their first meeting, didn’t give up a goal until late in the third period and finished with 16 saves.
