Faribault player's heart bruised by hockey shotby Paul Walsh
A southern Minnesota high school hockey player was struck in the chest by a puck and knocked unconscious, suffering bruises to his heart and left lung, the player's father said today.
Alex Larson, a junior forward on the Faribault High School team, went down to block a shot Tuesday night in the Falcons' home game against Winona, his father, Dana Larson, said today from Alex's hospital room in Rochester, Minn.
