Kittson Central's Lukas Dahl Selected As Section 8A Offensive Player-of-the-Week
Oshie Sports & Entertainment is pleased to announce the Section 8A Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the week ending January 28, 2008.
Lukas Dahl, of the Kittson Central Wolfpack, has been selected as the Section 8A Offensive Player-of-the-Week.
Dahl, feared by many opponents with his size (6'4, 235 lbs), has opened scouts eyes in the state of Minnesota with his physicality and great offensive prowess.
Lukas notched a 5-point game back on January 22, 2008, in a 12-0 win over Bagley-Fosston. Dahl had a 2g + 3a night versus the Flyers. Last week against Crookston, Dahl once again provided the spark with two points on the evening (1g + 1a) in the 5-4 thriller over the Pirates.
On January 26, Dahl showcased his physical presence leading the Wolfpack to a come-back, 4-3 victory over Fargo Shanley High of North Dakota. Lukas scored one and contibuted a helper in the victory.
Dahl now has 34 points in 19 games for Head Coach Scott Younggren's squad that has gone 12-5-0 during the last 17 games after a 1-3-0 start to the season for a 13-8-0 overall record.
