Lakeville South has come out strong in the second period. Bill Simon was striding to the net and Bo Dolan hooked him giving the Cougars a power play early in the period. They have had at least two really good scoring chances but was stopped cold by Joe Phillippi. Phillippi is showing why he deserved the Frank Brimsek Award in February for the best senior goaltender in the state of Minnesota.

Bill Simon had a really good scoring chance steering a backhand just wide of the goal.

Dan Cecka now scored with a nice break to the net and a hard blast for Hill-Murray seconds after Simon's great chance for Lakeville South.
