Must see games: Saturday, January 10th

Here some games that you must go see if you are in the area:

Benilde-St. Margaret’s at Minnetonka, 7:00 PM | Pagel Activity Center | On MSBN
:: A clash of Section 6AA titans clammering for one of the top four spots in that Section.

Bloomington Jefferson at Grand Rapids, 5:15 PM | IRA Civic Center
:: Grand Rapids will pack in to the IRA Civic Center to see how good the mighty Jaguars really are

Centennial at Maple Grove, 3:00 PM | Maple Grove Community Center Ice Arena
:: It's time to see if the undefeated Crimson are at the same level as Centennial in Section 5AA.

Elk River/Zimmerman at Duluth East, 2:00 PM | DECC Arena
:: Elk River is the second best team in Section 7AA. They will need to show that they can hang with the best team in that Section, Duluth East.

Hibbing/Chisholm at Albert Lea, 3:00 PM | Albert Lea City Arena
:: Hibbing/Chisholm proved that they could beat a good 1AA team on Friday. Albert Lea will need to quickly recover from their loss against Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl the night before.

Hill-Murray at Tartan, 3:00 PM | Tartan Ice Arena
:: We'll find out today how well Hill-Murray reacts after losing four of their teammates for the rest of the year.

Hutchinson at Academy of Holy Angels, 2:30 PM | Richfield Ice Arena
:: Missota Conference clash. Hutchinson is 10-0-0 but the Stars are more deep, full of talent, and have played much stiffer competition.

International Falls at Hermantown, 3:15 PM | Hermantown Arena
:: After a big win against Duluth Marshall this past week, the Hawks will be tested again with International Falls coming to town today.

Lakeville North at Lakeville South, 3:00 PM | Hasse Arena
:: A battle for Lakeville pride and the number one seed in Section 1AA.

Moorhead at Wayzata, 2:30 PM | Plymouth Ice Center
:: Moorhead has lost four in a row but are still ranked as the best team in Section 8AA. Wayzata, on the other hand, has won six straight games including winning the Silver Division Championship of the Schwan Cup.

Roseville Area at White Bear Lake Area, 8:00 PM | Aldrich Arena
:: Rivalry.

Sauk Rapids-Rice at Duluth Denfeld, 3:30 PM | MARS Lakeview Arena
:: This one will be a fight to determine who is the third best team in Section 5A behind Hermantown and St. Cloud Cathedral. Sauk Rapids-Rice won this game last year in Sauk Rapids 6-3.

St. Cloud Cathedral at Orono, 7:00 PM | Orono Ice Arena
:: Orono is 5-6-0 but the Crusaders better not overlook them. Ben Persian and the Spartan faithful will be waiting. St. Cloud Cathedral is 7-0-1 in their last eight games and gaining strength with a nice win over highly-ranked Warroad last week.

Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl at Rochester Mayo, 3:00 PM | Rochester Graham Arena
:: The Blue Devils had a nice 3-1 win over Albert Lea Friday night while Rochester Mayo lost to Hibbing/Chisholm 5-2. The Spartans want to get Coach Grosso his 593rd win. Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl wants to keep pace with Hibbing/Chisholm.

Woodbury at Cretin-Derham Hall, 7:30 PM | Highland Arena
:: Woodbury is ranked #1 in Section 3AA while Cretin-Derham Hall is #2. The Raiders (8-4-1) have only beaten one team with a record above .500, Duluth Denfeld in Class A. Woodbury (11-1-1) has only lost to Edina and tied South St. Paul.
