Defenseman Nick Leddy of Eden Prairie was selected as the 25th recipient of the annual Minnesota state high school Mr. Hockey Award on Sunday, March 15th.
Leddy, a Minnesota Golden Gophers recruit, led the Eden Prairie Eagles to their first ever high school hockey state championship. In 31 games, Leddy compiled 12 goals and 33 assists for 45 total points. He also had a plus/minus of plus-40 on the season.
There is no doubt that Leddy is an outstanding hockey player and deserving of the award. His performance at the state tournament alone showcased his talent.
