The Mr. Hockey Award winner is selected by a panel of NHL scouts, Division I college coaches and selected media members from around the state.
How was Tyson Fulton from Breck School not a Mr. Hockey Finalist? He was in the top three in the state in scoring this year and he was in the top three in the state last year amongst all juniors. He did that on a team that won the state championship in 2009, has a great shot this year at winning it again, and on a team that has a lot of scoring depth. He is still uncommitted in his choice of colleges. Was that the reason? Cal Decowski was the only other Finalist that was uncommitted.
