Section 3A Playoffs Preview

My pick: Hutchinson | Why?: This Section is weaker this year than it was last year. Hutchinson was pretty good last year and they have a couple of players back that made the trip to St. Paul last March. Goaltender Zak Swenson and leading Tiger scorer this year Michael Hantge made that trip. New Ulm has a very good shot too. They lost to Hutchinson in Hutchinson 3-2 in overtime early in the season. Yet, New Ulm lost twice to Marshall. Marshall lost twice to Redwood Valley. Redwood Valley has some good offensive talent but, when you think they are on a roll, they lose to teams they should not. If you aren't careful, Litchfield/D-C could sneak up on you too. I really think this Section is up for grabs but I will give Hutchinson an ever so slight edge.

Could surprise: Marshall
