Section 8AA Playoffs Preview

My pick: Moorhead | Why?: I don't know. The Spuds did this last year. They sputtered during the regular season but they found their mojo in time for the playoffs. Also, no other team in Section 8AA has shown that they can beat Moorhead. Roseau did beat them in Moorhead early in the season. I'm calling that 'lucky'. Moorhead outshot them 34-29 in that. A little over a month later, Moorhead embarrassed the Rams in Roseau, 6-2. The shots were 37-28 in Moorhead's favor. And, yes, Adam Knochenmus played in that game. Brainerd did not fare too well either against the Spuds losing 6-0 in their only meeting.

Have a good shot: Brainerd/Pillager/Pierz, Roseau

Could surprise: Bemidji, St. Cloud Tech
