The 2011 USHL Futures Draft was held on Tuesday, April 19th. This draft is the selection of players that have or will turn 16 years old in 2011 (born in 1995). This draft consists of six rounds.
This does not mean that these players will necessarily play in the USHL next season. They have the option to do so with being drafted. The USHL teams will hold the rights to these players for three years. The FAQ for the Futures Draft can be found on the
USHL website.
