1. Breck School
F Conor Andrle (12) - 58 pts (19g (3sh), 39a)
F Grant Opperman (12) - 53 pts (24g, 29a)
F Wesley Iverson (12) - 44 pts (26g, 18a)
- The Mustangs will be another head and shoulder above the rest in Section 2A this season and should be even better than their 5th place finish in the Class A state tournament last season.

- Breck School had seven shutouts regular season opponents last year and they won 17 regular season games last season and should win more than 20 this year.

- They are returning almost 89% of their goal production, 147 of 166.

- Breck returns a defense that was young last season.  They are now a year older and have state tournament experience.

- Senior Jack Kenney will most likely be the main goaltender for the Mustangs.  He had six wins including two shutouts last year.

2. Providence Academy
F Ryan Tapani (11) - 42 pts (23g, 19a)
D Marshall Tema (11) - 24 pts (9g, 15a)
D Sean Mostrom (12) - 22 pts (16g, 6a)
- Providence Academy is still a newer hockey program in Minnesota and they have been progressing to a higher level quickly.  I think they are one year away from overtaking Breck School at the top spot.

- The Lions are returning 75% of their goal production from last year, their defense continues to improve, and they have the luxury of having two returning good young goaltenders in junior Daniel Noble and sophomore Nick Pruden.

3. Delano/Rockford
F Dillon McLain (12) - 66 pts (23g, 43a)
F Jack Prinsen (12) - 43 pts (21g, 22a)
G Ryan Pinoniemi (12) - 16 wins, 2.76 GAA, .917 save percentage
- 2010-2011 Class A Points Champion Tyler Heinonen will be missed but Delano/Rockford will have a team loaded with seniors this season led by two good goal scorers and a tough goaltender.

4. Blake School
F Spencer Naas (10) - 29 pts (12g, 17a)
F Zach Doerring (12) - 25 pts (11g, 14a)
D Johnny Austin (10) - 23 pts (5g, 18a)
- The Bears lost 67% of their goal production from last year.  They return five freshmen.  The Bears should have one very good line but they will lack depth and experience.  Still, they are a very respectable top-five team in the Section.

5. Mound-Westonka
F Alex Bakke (12) - 22 pts (8g, 14a)
F Riley Williams (12) - 22 pts (13g, 9a)
F Jack Brandstetter (11) - 19 pts (8g, 11a)
- The White Hawks will return a good group of players at the top and a good goaltender.  They return 64% of their goal production last year.   They should be right around .500 in regular season wins/losses this season.

6. Orono
F Jimmy Lee (12) - 22 pts (10g, 12a)
F Danny Wilson (11) - 15 pts (9g, 6a)
D Jake Flemmer (10) - 11 pts (2g, 9a)

7. Chaska
F Brady Roers (12) - 14 pts (5g, 9a)
D Mitch Kirchoff (11) - 8 pts (5g, 3a)
F Sean Brewers (12) - 8 pts (5g, 3a)

8. Richfield
F Mick Dhein (12) - 53 pts (21g, 32a)
F Tyler Martinez (12) - 43 pts (25g, 18a)
F Sam Schrick (12) - 13 pts (6g, 7a)

9. Waconia
F Ryan Mattson (11) - 32 pts (26g, 6a)
F Justin Reinke (11) - 18 pts (6g, 12a)
F Charlie Klos (12) - 16 pts (9g, 7a)

10. St. Louis Park
F Tyler Brodersen (12) - 37 pts (20g, 17a)
F Nick Gaitan-Gaitan (12) - 17 pts (8g, 9a)
F Justin Brown (12) - 17 pts (8g, 9a)

11. Minnehaha Academy
D Michael Fabie (12) - 25 pts (14g, 11a)
F John Seibel (12) - 19 pts (6g, 13a)
F Peter Willemin (11) - 16 pts (8g, 8a)
