Hopkins Royals freshman forward Travis Boyd and Edina Hornets sophomore defenseman Matt VanVoorhis have committed to playing for the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) Under 17 team in 2009-2010.
Boyd led the Royals this past season with 51 points, 26 goals and 25 assists, in 26 games.
VanVoorhis played in 27 games for the Hornets in 2008-2009 where he scored two goals, one in the state tournament, and recorded nine assists.
