Goaltender Riley Gill (Northfield) saved 26 of 29 shots in Western Michigan's loss on Saturday night.

ECAC

Princeton 3, Harvard 3 TIE
Princeton's Mike Kramer (St. Paul Como Park) scored the first goal of the game on a powerplay at 9:27 into the 2nd period and then he scored again just seven seconds later.

From Mike Kramer: "The first goal was the product of Cam MacIntyre getting the puck to the net on the powerplay and I was fortunate enough to backhand the rebound past the goalie. The second goal came off a clean faceoff win by Mark Magnowski and a quick rush where Taylor Fedun found me in the slot for a one timer that beat the goalie five-hole. I wasn't really aware of how close the goals were together, we were just trying to push the tempo and I was fortunate enough to finish on a couple quality chances."

St. Lawrence 2, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) 1
RPI's Chase Polacek (Holy Angels) scored a powerplay goal with three minutes left in the first period.

HEA

Boston College 7, Vermont 1
Kyle Medvec (Apple Valley) scored the lone goal for Vermont.

Boston University 6, Merrimack 4
Boston U's Chris Connolly (Duluth Marshall) scored one in the first period, scored the empty netter, and assisted on the first goal of the game.

Nate Prosser (Elk River) scored the game-winning powerplay goal at 3:55 into the third period. Channing Boe (Bemidji) and Mike Louwerse (Blake School) (pp) each had a goal for MSU-Mankato.

Austin Lee
(Bloomington Jefferson) saved 28 of 31 shots in goal for the Mavericks.

From Nate Prosser: "The GWG was obviously an important one for us because it was a one goal game at the time, and if they would have gotten the next one, it would have given them all the momentum for the rest of the game, and being that we were on the road it would have been tough to come away with points."

Minnesota 4, Bemidji State 1
Nico Sacchetti (Virginia) & Mike Hoeffel (Hill-Murray) (gwppg) had a goal and an assist each to lead the Gophers past Bemidji State. Mike Carman (Holy Angels) & Jordan Schroeder (St. Thomas Academy) also scored. It was Sacchetti's, Carman's, and Schroeder's first goal for the season. Hoeffel now has five.
