Minnesota high school:

Chaska, with their enrollment numbers dipping due to the new school in Chanhassen, is considered a Class A team this year, Chanhassen AA.

East Ridge, a newer school in Woodbury, will move from Class A last year to Class AA, Section 3.

St. Paul Highland Park has a team this year. They will be in Class A, Section 4 with St. Paul Johnson.

All of the Minneapolis schools are combining to make one team this year and will still be in Class AA, Section 6.

Meadow Creek Christian changed their school name to Legacy Christian Academy. They will still be in Class A, Section 5.

Schwan Cup Gold Bracket quarterfinal matchups (12/29): STA/Minnetonka; Blaine/White Bear Lake; Breck/Hill-Murray; Duluth East/Edina.

St Louis Park Rec Invite quarterfinals (12/28); Maple Grove/Elk River; Benilde-SM/Eden Prairie; Bloom Jefferson/Moorhead; Centennial/Wayzata.
